NICE 19TH CENTURY SAILOR'S RIGGING KNIFE WITH MAKER'S NAME
Description Here is a nice 19th century sailor's naval rigging knife in good original condition. The steel blade and the wooden handle's surface have a nice patina from genuine age. The blade has the maker's name Joseph Rodgers with what looks like an anchor mark which can be seen in the photos. The blade is tight with no looseness. Originally from Leith docks, Edinburgh Scotland from a maritime naval collection. In total measuring 10.4 inches long and the blade measures 5.9 inches long.
