Collectable WWI Brass & Steel Trench Art Bayonet Letter Opener w Brass Scabbard This is an unusual and practical piece of trench art made by a serviceman during the Great War if 1914-18. The soldier has fashioned a useful letter opener using scrap from shell casings and a bit of steel found lying around. The letter opener is in the shape of a bayonet and its scabbard. Iy has a brass handle fitted with a steel blade. The scabbard is also brass and realistic in appearance. It is a nice and different piece of collectable trench art.
